Training

Our professional training practice is unique! Our trainees meet with leading game industry people and get first-hand experience in the latest technologies for their future careers. Our graduates are snapped up major computer game developers including Sony, Codemasters and Rare. We pride ourselves to have string industry links and develop trainees into the skills gaps identified by the industry.

To this end we have formed a very close connection to the MA Digital Games at Liverpool John Moores University and with the BBC-based professional training organisation: Media Training North West. Through our partnerships we recognise industy standards set by Skillset and recommendations provided by the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) and the Entertainment & Leisure Software Publishers Association (ELSPA).

"We employ graduates almost exclusively now and as a result our levels of expectation have risen considerably. A successful course of additional skills like this, which prepares graduates for realistic innovative work, will be a serious boost to the region, which has constant and intense recruitment needs as it grows for the next generation of interactive entertainment"
